City of Night, the sequel to Hidden City, is schedule for publication in March of 2010, in hardcover.
Michelle West has sold three new novels to DAW books: House Name, and two as yet untitled novels, all of which are part of The House War.
Michelle Sagara has sold three new novels to Luna books: Cast in Chaos, and two as yet untitled novels which continue the Chronicles of Elantra.
Will Kaylin and Severn’s relationship become romantic? It’s a bit confusing how he feels about her and vice versa
Hi I have just discovered Micelle Sagara via a library book via a blurb on the back of book published by Luna and was thrilled to discover another Author I will read over and over again and will therefore buy and in Hardcover (big gulp). Just picked up The Sun Sword series agaain a book picked up at the Library namely ” The Shining Court” and allthough I am very very confused as one often is if one picks up a book in a series without starting at the start ,so to speak, i am devouring it and looking for more so it’s off to the book store I go and hope i can find the rest of the series.
I was wondering when, if ever, the sundered series, the sun sword series, and the sacred hunt series will be made available on the kindle. I have read parts of the chronicles of elantra and the hidden city via my kindle, and I am holding out on the other series until they are made available on this medium.
The Sundered series, I think, will be available soon; the publisher, BenBella books indicated that they’d be doing the series as ebooks. I’m not sure what the plans are for the older DAW series; I believe that all current books are being epublished going forward, so any future DAW titles will likely be on the kindle.
Hi Michelle
I’m enjoying your Elantra series and will probably pick up your other series as well, once I’ve worked my way through the queue of other books waiting to be read. I don’t know if you can answer this but do you have an idea of how many books will be in the cast series? I’m not sure I can commit to another Robert Jordan-esque series :) which is untrue. I will, I’ll just grumble :) have fun in rainy T.O. from momentarily sunny CGY
scratch that question, I sw it answered elsewhere. guess I’ll just settle in :)
my husband and i just love your Elentra series and are always waiting impatiently for the next one…lol
Hi Michelle. I was wondering if the last two Sundered books will be re-released at any point. I have always loved the first two and only recently found out that there are two more. Do you know if I will be able to get them eventually? And I am loving the Elantra series as well. Really great reading!
First, thank you, the Cast series are good books, I like the way they move along. I found a kindred spirit in your stories, as books are my hoard. I had a thought, what would happen if you lost your hoard, could it be replaced, I mean if you were a dragon, could it be replaced. I unwisely lent one of your books to a friend, who lost it(Cast in Silence) so I was force to purchase another one. But a dragon couldn’t do that now could he?

Heyla Michelle
I’m from the LUNA forum. I was wondering when books 4 and 5 of the Elantra Chronicles are going to come in MMPB.

Just want to say to Michelle how much I am enjoying the Elantra series. I’m used to devouring novels at high speed, and I finally figured out in “Silence” that these books should be savored. The faster the action, the more carefully one has to read. Now, I’ve re-read the whole series and was amazed at how much more I picked up. They’re such a pleasure to read. Writing in the 3rd person, but with the main character’s attitude is not easy, but sure is well done here.
Hi Michelle! I just wanted to say thank you for sharing and creating the fantastic and magnificent worlds that you do. I love your world-building and your characters so much. But I was wondering about what you’ve got planned after the House War is finished. I know I read somewhere (but don’t ask me where, I don’t know how this information came up on Google) that you were writing another series called the Black Gauntlet, and that it would take place in the Essalieyen universe after the events of The Sun Sword and The House War. Is this still in the works??? And do you have anything planned for this universe for AFTER The Black Gauntlet is finished, or will you move on to another universe that’s totally different from any of the rest of your works????
Anyway, thank you for your time and for your writing. You are one of the few authors I’ve read whose characters always act IN CHARACTER, whose worlds stay consistent with the way they’ve been built and set up. I know it’s probably not easy or convenient for your characters to act how they want to act when you might want them to go another way, so again, thank you.
Absolutely love Kaylin! Can’t wait to see the outcome with Severn and Nightshade. That will be an interesting scene :)
